We received 4-5 inches of rain in just a couple of hours. Our creek was at an all-time high when it touched the bottom of the bridge and then some. The funniest thing we saw was our neighbors patio that just floated off it's foundation and got wedged between the bank, the bridge and a lot of crud!
FYI, it was all salvaged. The furniture was rescued later that day then after the water had receded the patio was pulled out. The city used an excavator and deposited it higher up on the bank. Our neighbor repaired it and now it is back in it's rightful place only a little worse for wear.
