I just found these in my library (there are benefits to being a librarian, let me tell you!!). The Lily Series by Nancy Rue is awesome! I borrowed the first one for my 8 year old and she devoured it! I'm reading it, too, and it's very well written, AND it's God-centred without being in your face, or fluffy.
